Verso Paper Corp. is committed to the highest quality of corporate governance.  Reflecting this commitment, Verso embraces the spirit of corporate governance reform, rather than simply meeting the minimum compliance standards set forth in the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and the New York Stock Exchange's corporate governance listing standards. Verso’s board of directors reviews all aspects of our corporate governance policies and practices, including our Corporate Governance Guidelines and our Code of Conduct, at least annually in light of best practices, and makes whatever changes are necessary to further Verso’s commitment to the highest standards of corporate governance.
